The Slow Food Nations Film Cafe was a fabulous experience!

We are proud and grateful that we were able to be part of the magical Slow Food Nations, the new food festival that took place from July 14-16 in downtown Denver. Slow Food Nations included everything from workshops to tastings to demos with some of the best people in the food world. When we were able to take time away from the Slow Food Nations Cafe, we learned so much and had a great time. We ran the Slow Foods Film Cafe, which screened some of the best short films from previous years of the Flatirons Food Film Festival as well as some excellent ones that will be shown during the 2017 festival that will take place on Sept. 27-Oct. 1 .

The historic Oxford Hotel, which will include the upcoming Urban Farmer restaurant, hosted the Slow Food Nations Film Cafe. They were gracious, helpful, and provided a beautiful and comfortable environment. We are lucky to have partnered with them.

Slow Food Nations participants stopped by to relax, watch some films, and grab a beverage or snack. It was great to meet new people passionate about food and see familiar faces. We hope to see you at our upcoming festival when we offer feature-length films, speakers, and food events related to the films.
