Our Homage to Anthony Bourdain will start with a street food reception. Anthony Bourdain frequently enjoyed street food on his television shows, so serving street food is another way to celebrate his life.  It will continue with a screening of Babette’s Feast, the 1987 Academy Award winner for Best Foreign Language Film that was one of Anthony Bourdain’s favorite food films. Bourdain’s taped introduction to the film for TCM’s Spotlight: Food in the Movies will precede the screening.

After the film, Sara Brito, Co-Founder of the Good Food Media Network ™, will interview guest speakers Laurie Woolever and Todd Liebler and moderate the Q&A that will follow. Laurie Woolever is a writer and editor who worked closely with Anthony Bourdain and is writing an authorized biography of him. Todd Liebler is an Emmy Award-winning cinematographer who spent the last 13 years working with Anthony Bourdain on No Reservation and Parts Unknown.
