We’ll stream a movie once a month, including some past favorites from previous festivals. Approximately one hour before the event, participants receive an email with access information for the film, live film intro, and post-film discussion by Zoom. Start watching and eating together at 6:30 p.m. MST. If you can’t join the live presentation, you may still access the film and recorded post-film discussion until 12:30 a.m. Saturday, the next morning.

Curtis Duffy, a teen who fought and stole for the thrill, discovered his place in the kitchen after a home economics teacher nurtured his talents. After an unimaginable tragedy involving his parents, Duffy doubled down on his cooking career. Soon, his intense drive earned him accolades as one of the country’s most renowned chefs. But as he began building his dream restaurant in Chicago, called Grace, Duffy found himself in another point of personal crisis: His laser focus cost him his marriage and two young daughters.

New Online Experience
Starting with For Grace, we will be using Eventive Virtual Festival to present all events, including our January 28-February 5th Festival. Eventive provides an online experience that integrates pre-recorded and live content; you will not have to access films and Zoom manually. You can access Eventive through your computer, iPad, iPhone, and television if you have an Apple TV, Chromecast (3rd gen or later), or a smart TV enabled with AirPlay or Chromecast. How Dinner and a Movie works
Each Dinner and a Movie event will consist of:
- A featured food film available to stream online
- Specific recommended meals related to the film that viewers can order, pick up or have delivered, and eat while watching the movie
- For home cooks: Suggested Savory Spice Shop recipes for dishes to be made and paired with the film
- Speakers for a film introduction and post-film discussion via Zoom
- A $10 viewing fee
Approximately one hour before the event, all participants will receive an email with access information for the streaming film as well as for the live film introduction and post-film discussion and Q&A on Zoom. Participants will start watching, and eating together, at 6:30 p.m. (MST). Those who can’t join the live presentation can still access the film and recorded post-film discussion until 12:30 a.m. (MST) the next morning, Saturday.
